Updated Scripting System & Other News

The newest update contains some changes worth mentioning:

The latest release as of this moment (1.14.9.31, Release 11) introduces a vastly improved scripting system, which is much easier to use than the previous version (which, admittedly, was way more convoluted than it needed to be). You can read about the new system here if you’re interested, and try out the new script editor, which comes with some example scripts. Note that this means existing scripts for the old system will no longer work. If you were making use of it before, feel free to send your scripts to me, and I’ll update them for you.

The second thing I wanted to mention is that I’m aware that the daily download limit was not resetting correctly for a couple of users, but that should be fixed now. If you find that it’s still not resetting, send me an email, and I’ll get it fixed for you. I apologize for the inconvenience!

Lastly, I’ve received a couple of messages about supporting Fakku books/subscription content. I’ve been really busy, so I haven’t had a lot of time to work on that, but know that a solution is in the works. Hopefully it will be possible at some point in the next few updates.

Dunnno if this happened to anyone else, but the download speed is considerably dropping when I’m downloading stuffs from exhentai and batoto.

At first I thought it was because of their better quality but I tried with other websites which provide same quality (EatManga has some of them, and also tried with NHentai and Pururin) and the download speed is quite fast.

Make sure you don’t have a page delay set for g.e-hentai.org/exhentai.org under Site-Specific Settings. It’s set to 2 seconds by default. Also, note that unlike most other sites, images from g.e-hentai.org/exhentai.org are fetched as they’re downloaded instead of fetching them all up front, which can make it seem slower.

As for bato.to, it can have a longer page-grabbing process because the pages aren’t named consistently, and aren’t available on a single page, like they are for EatManga, NHentai, and Pururin.
